Hillary Clinton’s campaign will be focusing its “Get out the vote” firepower on several key states with minority populations ahead of November’s general election, according to Reuters, which cited a memo sent to supporters.
The memo, written by Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook, said Reuters, zeroed in on at least six states: Colorado, Florida, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia.
“If we fail to turn out African-American voters in Ohio, North Carolina or Virginia, we will lose. If we fail to turn out Hispanic voters in Florida, Colorado or Nevada, we will lose,” Mook reportedly wrote, proposing that the campaign would be engaged in the “most aggressive Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) program in history.”
“If we fail to turn out Asian-American and Pacific Islander voters in Nevada or Virginia, we will lose. Plain and simple,” the memo read.
