Golden Globes 2018: 7 must-know moments from Sunday’s show

In a moving speech, Oprah Winfrey mentions the sexual harassment problem as one that “transcends” culture, geography and the workplace.

“Woman” was the word of Sunday’s Golden Globes Awards.

The glitzy ceremony was its most politically charged yet in the wake of sexual harassment allegations that have rocked Hollywood and other industries, with women and men wearing all black in solidarity with victims. The winning films and TV shows reflected that spirit of female empowerment, with the women-led Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Big Little Lies taking home four honors each.

1. Seth Meyers monologue draws mixed reactions for harassment jokes. 

Meyers earned mostly positive reviews for his first time hosting the Golden Globes, although some of his jokes about accused sexual predators Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey were met with uncomfortable laughter and gasps in the Beverly Hilton ballroom.
